Shamara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that is duly licensed in the state of Florida and Georgia. She also is a Qualified Supervisor, and Qualified Expert in Child Welfare. In 2011, she graduated with both a Masters of Clinical Social Work and a Certificate in Child Welfare Practice from Florida State University.She then obtained her certification as Child Welfare Case Manager in 2012. Her passion for helping victims of trauma led her to become a Sexual Abuse Therapist for a specialized treatment program in 2015 providing individual and family counseling to sexual abuse victims and their families.Driven to make impact on a larger scale, she began working as a Program Manager for a Non-Profit organization in 2016 where she developed a pilot outreach program that continues to provide mental health services to high risk girls throughout Duval County. With experience and approach, she’s able to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be.
